Double Victory for Seldén at the RYA Youth National Championships Team Seldén sailors Tim Riley and Luke Burywood won the RYA 420 youth national championship and are selected for the RYA Volvo Team GBR for the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship 2013 to be held in Cyprus. Seldén Masts dominate at the Steve Nicholson Trophy An icy cold morning with a light forecast on order arrived at Northampton Sailing Club for the annual running of the Steve Nicholson Memorial Trophy. With tight racing on Pitsford Reservoir, Seldén Spars dominated. Seldén’s new System 15 Travellers and Track Selden masts have introduced a new range of ball bearing dinghy travellers and track. System 15 is specifically designed for dinghies and keelboats but uses technology drawn from Seldén’s larger systems. New Seldén Zeta section wins Blanes Regatta Tim Riley and Luke Burywood won the 420 class and overall championship at The Club Vela Blanes International regatta held between the 2nd & 5th January 2013. Team Seldén win 420 class at Sail Sydney Congratulations to Xavier Winston-Smith and Josh Dawson who dominated the 12 race regatta recording only 1st and 2nd positions in a near perfect scoreline. New Seldén Optimist spars win End of Season Championship Arran Holman won the Optimist End of Season Championships using a set of Seldén’s new Optimist spars. Arran has been working with Seldén over the summer to develop the new spars and this was the first time they have been used at a major event. Selden Merlin Rocket Nationals at Lyme Regis Sailing Club - Day 6 So to the final day and a much anticipated show down between the defending Champions Taxi and Tom Pygall and the 2010 Champions and Olympic Silver Medalist Stu Bithell and Christian Birrell. Selden RS Tera Southern Championships at Netley Sailing Club The Selden RS Tera Southern Area Championships attracted 37 entries at Netley Sailing Club over the weekend of 23rd and 24th June, this was also Act 3 in the insurance4dinghies Southern Traveller Series. Selden Merlin Rocket Championships to be held at Lyme Regis The Merlin Rocket class and title sponsor Selden are pleased to announce the 2012 National Championships which will be held at Lyme Regis Sailing Club in Dorset from 25th to 31st August.
