ANOTHER SUCCESS FOR TEAM SELDÉN

The Seldén sponsored team of Alvaro Marinho and Miguel Nunes again proved their form at the recent 470 Europeans, winning the event with a seven-point advantage. Using the Seldén Cumulus 470 mast with our award winning fully adjustable spreader system and our Olympus boom section they sailed in a variety of conditions to sail a consistent regatta, only twice falling outside of the top four. This is the second time this year the team has won a major event, with a win at the Princess Sofia Regatta in April.

Richard Gibson, Sales Manager at Seldén Masts received a text message from Alvaro after they had sailed the final day, thanking Seldén for their support and acknowledging their input in helping them to their recent successes. Over the last twenty-four months Seldén has been working with top teams such as Alvaro and Miguel to refine the 470 cumulus mast, and it is great to see that this hard work is helping members of Team Seldén to perform to their best.

Alvaro and Miguel, along with other members of Team Seldén will be strong contenders for podium positions at forthcoming ISAF World Championships in Cascais next month.
