Seldén’s new System 15 Travellers and Track

Selden masts have introduced a new range of ball bearing dinghy travellers and track. System 15 is specifically designed for dinghies and keelboats but uses technology drawn from Seldén's larger systems that are now used by many of the world's largest yacht builders.

System 15 is based on an ultra light and compact 15mm track which is among the lightest available. The standard track end stop cleverly conceals the stopper knot.

Precision machined from solid aluminium, the range of cars includes a tie on version which weighs in at an impossibly light 40grms. Other variations include cars with mainsheet shackles and toggles for traveller blocks.

The new pin stop jib car uses nylon slide rods to ensure a perfect fit on the track. This make un-cleating easier as vertical movement of this cleat is reduced to a minimum. The cleat angle can be adjusted in stages up to a maximum of 50 degrees. The car position can be adjusted in 19mm increments to allow accurate leach tension adjustment. The head of the pin stop has been designed to prevent it from catching sheets and control lines.
